In the pursuit of uncompromising performance and continual improvements, Shure is happy to announce firmware version 1.7.6 for Shure PSM 1000 Personal Monitoring Systems.
This important update is now available on the Shure Update Utility.
With a category-leading combination of superb audio quality, robust RF performance, and touring-grade features, Shure’s PSM® 1000 Wireless Personal Monitor System is the choice of top-tier audio professionals for productions with zero room for error.
Firmware version 1.7.6 improves user experience and contains an important update that smooths out squelch at end of range scenarios in challenging RF environments.
Included in this Firmware Release:
- Updated IR Presets
Monitor engineers save time during setup with IR sync of presets from the P10T transmitter. Setting presets can created and stored on Wireless Workbench and pushed to P10R+ bodypack receivers.
- Persistent Volume Lock
The volume lock feature now retains its settings on the P10R+ bodypack when power cycled: either manually on the bodypack, when replacing batteries or when docking in a Shure charger.
- Volume Limiter OFF by default
In alignment with most common configurations, the volume limiter feature now defaults to “OFF” on P10R+ bodypacks from the factory.
- Pan Control removed from home screen
Prevents unintentional pan values adjustment by talent.
- Squelch performance improvements
RF noise and audio performance is improved to smooth squelch artifacts when the P10R+ bodypack reaches end of range scenarios in challenging RF environments.
The firmware update is now available on the Shure Update Utility.
Full release notes will be published in the Shure Software & Firmware Archives.
